This movie moved me in every sense I can imagine. It touches on prevailing issues such as one that I am very fretful of which is sexual assault towards woman and children. Here are my thoughts after watching Highway (initially thinking it was a travel movie -_-):
- -
Rapists should burn to death.
- -
Cliché but it takes a lot to understand that
being rich does not bring total happiness. Because what nature (mountains etc),
love or god (if you’re a believer) can deliver is paramount to what superficial
subjects (like handbags) can.
-
- How exploring feels like to me: I never want to
go back to where we started. Strangely nor
do I seem to want be where we’re headed to. I’m quite fond of this journey we’re
on actually.
- -
Freedom is where home is.
